What is a Medical Spa?

A medical spa is a hybrid of an aesthetic day spa and a medical center. They perform procedures and treatments under a licensed physician’s supervision. They offer medical-grade treatments as well as services at the superficial level.

What types of services does Perfection Medical Spa offer?

Perfection offers comprehensive services ranging from micro-needling, chemical peels, dermal fillers, BOTOX/XEOMIN, PRP, Women’s Health Services, Men’s Health Services, Acute/Illness care, Weight Loss programs, and so much more!

Who will treat me?

At Perfection you will always see a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Do you accept Insurance?

We currently do not bill Insurance, but, we will give you a receipt with all the CPT codes and ICD-10 codes so that you can submit for reimbursement.

What is a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels are designed to lift pigment, remove sun damage, alleviate acne and scarring, and fight fine lines and wrinkles, thus improving the texture/color of your skin! It may take several treatments (typically a minimum of 3), spaced 4-6 weeks apart to start, and then maintenance treatments thereafter.

What is Micro-needling?

Microneedling is a great treatment for renewing the skin. Tiny microneedles penetrate the skin to promote stem cells, collagen, and elastin boosting, therefore bringing them to surface area to renew the skin. This treatment is Great for reducing age/brown spots, scars, uneven skin tone, and texture. Medical micro-needling can be safely performed on all skin types and all skin colors due to the epidermis and in particular melanocytes. There is minimal risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Skin micro-needling can treat sensitive and fragile areas that are difficult to treat with other procedures. These areas include around the eyes, the neck, and the back of the hands.

What is PRP?

PRP stands for Platelets Rich Plasma, and is used in many different ways. Aesthetically this is used to treat fine lines and wrinkles of the skin, with micro-needling as a vampire facial or for hair regeneration/regrowth. Your own blood is used, sometimes with amniotic fluid, to help boost the regenerative process.

What is IV therapy?

IV therapy is used to replenish vitamins, amino acids, and key nutrients  that your body may be lacking due to medical conditions or the aging process.

Does IV therapy hurt?

The initial start of the IV may be mildy uncomfortable, but we can reduce the discomfort by using numbing topical cream, ice, heat or anti-inflammaroties.
